Undergraduate Program

The curriculum seamlessly integrates OBE principles and underpins it with the MBKM program. It aims to equip graduates with a comprehensive understanding of psychological concepts and theories and the ability to apply psychological knowledge effectively in diverse contexts.

The Undergraduate Program in Psychology is a comprehensive and rigorous eight-semester program encompassing 149 SKS credits. The curriculum is designed to equip students with a deep understanding of psychological theories, principles, and research methods, and it provides practical experience through internships and other experiential learning opportunities.

Goals
  1. To acquire a comprehensive understanding of fundamental psychological concepts and theories as a foundation for diagnosing and interpreting human behavior (in individuals, groups, and communities) within a psychodiagnostic framework.
  2. To grasp and master the fundamental principles of assessment and intervention.
  3. To demonstrate proficiency and skill in employing assessment and intervention methods.
  4. To possess the sensitivity and skills to observe, analyze, evaluate, formulate, and explain bio-psychosocial problems that arise in human life.
  5. To demonstrate proficiency in conducting research, training, and social behavior analysis using psychological principles.
  6. To demonstrate a strong commitment to pursuing and contributing to advancing psychological knowledge, encompassing both pure and applied domains, including concepts, theories, methods, and assessment tools.
  7. To adhere to the ethical principles enshrined in the Indonesian Code of Ethics for Psychology 21 in all aspects of professional thinking, conduct, actions, and accountability.
  8. To demonstrate proficiency and skill in utilizing acquired technological knowledge for productive activities and community service.
  9. To demonstrate the ability to synergize psychological knowledge with other fields of study in research endeavors, contributing to the advancement of psychological science.

Curriculum

The Undergraduate Program in Psychology implements the Merdeka Belajar—Kampus Merdeka Curriculum with the expectation that students will be prepared to become skilled, adaptable, and resilient lifelong learners.

The program consists of 8 semesters; students must complete 149 SKS credits. This allows students to gain a comprehensive understanding of various fields in psychology.
