Doctoral of Psychology Program

The Doctoral Program in Psychology at Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) was established in 1983 under the auspices of the university's postgraduate program. In 2007, the research-oriented program was implemented under the Faculty of Psychology, Unpad's management, and currently holds the prestigious accreditation status of A. Additionally, it has earned international accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA).

Aspiring doctoral candidates must possess a bachelor's and master's degree, with at least one of these degrees in psychology or a related discipline. The faculty of the Doctoral Program in Psychology at Unpad is composed of highly qualified individuals who hold doctoral degrees and have attained the academic ranks of Professor or Associate Professor.

Curriculum

The Doctoral Program invites prospective doctoral candidates to produce and publish original, comprehensive, and sustainable mono- or multidisciplinary research at the national and international levels while continuously balancing theoretical advancements with their application in the field.

This program, oriented towards a biopsychosocial approach through experimental, quantitative, and qualitative research with a modeling approach, encourages prospective doctoral candidates to develop cutting-edge knowledge.

Health Psychology
This area of specialization deals with the assessment/psychodiagnosis and psychological interventions (prevention and treatment of mental or emotional disorders) in individuals.
Developmental Psychology
This area of specialization studies human thought, feelings, and behavior development.
Industrial and Organizational Psychology
This area of specialization develops models of work behavior and healthy and effective psychological processes, particularly in the workplace.
Social Psychology
This area of specialization examines and develops the behavior of individuals, groups, and communities in their social and cultural environments.
Educational Psychology
This area of specialization focuses on the development of psychology in teaching methods and approaches in educational settings.
